  1. Different Hair Styles
The way you wear your hair can affect the appearance of your features. Your personal style will always be a factor in the hairstyles you choose. The right hairstyle makes the most of your best qualities.
Long styles work with any hair type - straight, wavy, or curly - but looks best if locks are medium-textured or thick. Skip the lengthy look if you have fine hair (it tends to go straggly) or a long, narrow face.
Short hairdos look great with all face shapes. It is best for fine or medium hair that's straight to slightly wavy. If you have curly hair, a lot of it, opt for a longer style - a short cut could look puffy.
1)Fringes: The length of your fringes influence the appearance of your forehead. Short fringes make the distance between eyebrows and hairline look longer than it is. Long ones make your forehead look shorter and some times wider. Fringes that are long at the temples and curve to a shorter length across your forehead will highlight your eyes and make cheekbones broader.
2)Partings: Worn straight down the center add width to your brow. Slightly off-center parts and side parts make your forehead seem narrower. Low side parts on your head broaden your forehead.
3)Hair pulled back: This style highlights your jaw line, elongates and thins your neck. Drawing your hair over the top of your ears will make your ears look smaller and closer to your head.

4)Fullness: Fullness at the crown tends to make your face look longer. It adds width to your cheeks and brow. Fullness at your jaw line or below will broaden your lower face. Full hair brushed up and away from your face at your temples gives a lift from your face at your temples gives a lift to your cheekbones and makes your eyes look wider.

5)Ringlets: Wisps of wavy or curly hair that fall from a pulled -up hairstyle soften the outer edge of your face and add length to your neck. Tendrils can soften the severity of a hair style pulled back from your face.
6)To Create CurlsWash hair and allow to air-dry until just damp. Starting at your forehead, wrap a two-inch section of hair around your second and third fingers, then slide fingers out and secure loop to scalp with a bobby pin. Proceed in this manner all over head. Either sleep with pin curls in place or leave them on until hair is completely dry. Then undo and tousle tresses with fingers.

7)For a curl free maneComb a styling lotion through damp hair and gather it into a tight, low ponytail at the nape. Twist tail loosely and wrap it around itself, securing ends to scalp with hair pins. Leave in until hair is no longer wet. Undo to reveal twist-free mane. (If your hair is short, follow the above steps, but slick hair back with a wide headband and skip the twist.

o Do you known how much energy, how many powers, how many forces are still lurking behind that frame of yours? What scientist has known all that is in man? Millions of years have passed since man first came here, and yet but one infinitesimal part of his powers has been manifested. Therefore, you must not say that you are weak. How do you know what possibilities lie behind that degradation on the surface? You know but little of that which is within you. For behind you is the ocean of infinite power and blessedness

Walking Patterns
When you speak-especially if you aren't well known to the audience-the most crucial part of your presentation is the first few minutes. During that initial segment, the audience will be making critical judgments about you. Your listeners will decide whether you are confident, sincere, friendly, eager to address them and worthy of their attention. In large measure, they will base this decision on what they see.

After your introduction, walk purposefully and confidently to the speaking position.

Why move in the first place?

Moving forces people to focus and follow you. The way you walk from your seat to the speaker's position is very important. When you are introduced, you should appear eager to speak. Too many speakers look as though they are heading toward execution.

Walk confidently from your seat to the lectern. Pause there for a few seconds, then move out from behind the lectern ,it is wise to use the lectern as a point of departure, and not a barrier to hide behind.

Smile before you say your first words. Be careful not to stand too close to, nor move beyond, the people in the front row. Be careful not to walk too much. Doing so will work against you. Continuous pacing is distracting. Walking can be an effective way to stress an important idea. It is essential that your walk be purposeful and intentional, not just a random shift of position. Taking about three steps, moving at a shallow angle, usually works best.

When employing visual aids, use three positions. One position is your "home" position and should be front and center. The other two positions should be relatively near the "home" position. Never stand in front of any visual aid.

When you practice your speaking, make sure you also practice your walking patterns. Try walking to and from your three positions. These positions should be planned just as your hand gestures are.

When standing still, remember to maintain good posture. Stand up straight.

Remember it's not what you say it's how you say it and your body does speak very loudly. It's only when you marry your verbal message and you nonverbal message does a speaker begin to command presence.

How To Use Your Eyes Effectively

The adage, "The eyes are the mirror of the soul," underlines the need for you to convince people with your eyes, as well as your words. Only by looking at your listeners as individuals can you convince them that you are sincere and are interested in them, and that you care whether they accept your message. When you speak, your eyes also function as a control device you can use to assure your listeners' attentiveness and concentration.

ü Know your material. Know it so well that you don't have to devote your mental energy to the task of remembering the sequence of ideas and words . don’t depend heavily on notes.

ü Establish a personal bond with listeners. How do you do this? Begin by selecting one person and talking to him or her personally. Maintain eye contact with that person long enough to establish a visual bond (about 5 to 10 seconds). This is usually the equivalent of a sentence or a thought. Then shift your gaze to another person.

ü Monitor visual feedback. While you are talking, your listeners are responding with their own non-verbal messages. Use your eyes to actively seek out this valuable feedback

Eye contact can also help you to overcome nervousness by making your audience a known quantity. Effective eye contact is an important feedback device that makes the speaking situation a two-way communication process. By looking at your audience, you can determine how they are reacting. When you develop the ability to gauge the audience's reactions and adjust your presentation accordingly, you will be a much more effective speaker.

EFFECTIVE PUBLIC SPEEKING: Public speaking is a skill that is very valuable for a chiropractor to develop. That is because delivering effective public speeches:
· Builds your reputation and helps to establish you as an expert in your field; and, · Provides a way for you to communicate with more people who could be potential patients or who might refer you to other potential patients.
Learning to deliver effective public speeches also helps one's other communications skills such as communicating individually with patients.
Here are several tips for speaking more effectively:
1. Pick a title for your speech that is attention getting and weak peak the attention of your target audience. Besides delivering your speech effectively, the title is the most important element that determines the size of your audience. 2. Make sure the title is of interest to your audience. Brainstorm several titles and pick the one you feel will be of most interest to the audience. 3. Know your audience and communicate with them on a level they understand. 4. Establish one or more objectives for your speech. For example, one objective could be to create interest in a Fibromyalgia treatment program you are offering. 5. Prepare an outline for your speech. An outline helps you present your speech in a logical and well-organized way. 6. Use inflection in your delivery. A monotone delivery style could put your audience to sleep! 7. Use eye contact. By looking at members of the audience during your presentation, you will build rapport. 8. Be interactive. Involve your audience in the speech. Ask for their opinion. Invite questions. 9. Make sure you have a "call to action" at the end of every speech. A "call to action" is a request that your audience take a certain action. For example, tell the audience that if they would like more information about the topic you presented, they should leave their name and contact information. 10. At the end of your speech, thank your audience for the opportunity to speak to them. 11. Write a personal thank you note to the person who arranged for your speaking appearance. 12. Circulate a feedback questionnaire to be completed by your audience. Questions could include:
