teaching grooming

The process of teaching your child proper grooming habits starts right after they are born and will continue for many years. Although a baby might not understand the purpose of a bath or the brushing of their hair you as a parent are setting up what will ultimately be a lifetime lesson of taking care of their bodies. Teaching your child proper grooming habits is a long and often difficult process although it does not have to be. You need to be committed and willing to help your child every step of the way. The amount of time spent helping to teach your child about proper grooming will depend on several key things that include the child’s age, skill level and interest.
Make sure to help your child develop a lifelong dedication to taking care of their bodies by making it fun and exciting. Being honest and letting them know why they need to take personal hygiene and grooming seriously. Some kids will be easier to teach than others will. It all depends on them but you must remain there to guide them through the process. Let your child know why he or she needs to bathe and the reasons for washing our hair, brushing our teeth and taking good care of our bodies. You need to make sure your child understands the importance of hygiene and grooming and one of the ways to show them this is by making sure you also practice good hygiene habits
